HATS that HELP make HEADS better
We make awesome hats whilst supporting Men's mental health
Don't keep it under your hat...
1 in 4 adults will have a mental health crisis in the next 12 months, and 84 people are losing their lives to suicide every week.
We're Uncle Matt's and we are on a mission to use the resources we have - our brand, our voice, our community and our imagination - to do something about it.
Quality in mind
Sure, our caps are made from premium materials, but they’re also here to get you thinking. On the outside, they’re clean, simple, and classic.
But flip one over, and you’ll discover our ‘Brain Freeze’ pattern—a reminder that while everything might look fine on the outside, there’s usually a whole lot more going on beneath the surface. Because, honestly, who really has it all together?
Cool Caps... Cooler Tubs
Our hats ship in ice cream tubs. No joke. Why? Because just like a brain freeze from ice cream, life can hit us with those unexpected moments where everything feels overwhelming, and we’re left frozen in place. At Uncle Matt’s, we know how those times can creep up on us. Our ice cream tub packaging is a reminder to pause, take a breath, and know that feeling a little stuck is part of the journey. Pop the lid, grab your cap, and remember: even when things feel like too much, you’re not alone.
Giving back
We’re giving 10% of profits to Chasing the Stigma, the Incredible folks behind the Hub of Hope - a directory with over 15,000 mental health services across the UK. Whilst our hats are one-size-fits-all, mental health support isn’t. Whether you need a little help or a lot, they’ve got the right fit for you. Because when it comes to mental health, everyone’s journey is different.
We’ve also got some amazing events in the works to get people together and start real conversations. So keep an eye out—things are about to get interesting!
